'Equus' - Level 3 NCEA production

By Sarah SpicerTuesday November 19, 2013

Equus is a dark exploration of many themes including religion, passion and the role of medicine in society. The complex relationship between a psychiatrist and a troubled boy was performed brilliantly by Matthew Scadden and Blake McAlevey-Scurr.

The two hour production was used as an internal assessment at NCEA Level 3.  The cast received a standing ovation in recognition of its brilliance.  The Year 13 group also performed The Glass Menagerie, A Prayer for Wings, Agnes of God and Five Kinds of Silence. A very talented group that have excelled this year.
