Logan Park Players were delighted to be asked to perform at the Botanic Garden's 150th celebration day.
The occasion was to be marked with a range of local talent performing in the beautiful gardens. The performers displayed great skill as they acted for the first time outside. They wowed the crowd with an outstanding interpretation of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. The contemporary production was full of passion and the comedy was appreciated by an attentive audience. The cast of year 13 students included Damon Lillis, Nicole Littleton, Anika Campbell, Matthew Scadden, Macaela Prosser and Abby Wolfe. One onlooker said "That was amazing. I have never seen Shakespeare outside before. I hope they do another performance." Praise indeed for a very talented group.
