Mathew Denys Year 13, has been selected to attend the World Science Conference in Jerusalem, Israel in August, along with 5 other top science students from around New Zealand.
20 Nobel Laureates will lecture at the conference and 300 top young scholars from around the world have been selected.
All accommodation and 80% of the cost of flights have been paid for by Royal Society of NZ.
Mathew has achieved NCEA Level 1 and 2 with Excellence, as well as earning an NCEA Scholarship in Statistics as a Year 12 student. This year he is studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics as well as Calculus and English.
