LPHS Boys Rugby

By Duncan TrickeyMonday June 30, 2014

Logan Park Boys Rugby team have been competing in the Colts B league this year.

They are still waiting for their first win yet have been playing with structure and a growing flair all season. This was highlighted by a 44-22 loss to league leaders Cromwell College. The buoyant home crowd at Opoho Park saw the boys work hard for 80 minutes and narrowly get turned over in the second half.

The season is still in its infancy and with only 3 games gone and big matches coming up against Kavanagh at Port Chalmers and then Otago Boys in the final week of the term we hope the boys can start to climb up the league and challenge for the title again.

Either way it has been great to see the young inexperienced side earn respect through the season.
